Mike Wood has served as President of Silvertip since the company’s inception, bringing more than 15 years of wireline experience in the Permian. Prior to leading Silvertip, Mike was Southern U.S. Region Manager at C&J Energy Services from 2013 to 2017, overseeing all wireline operations in the Permian, Mid-Continent, Eagle Ford and Haynesville regions. He spent the previous decade in Halliburton’s Permian Wireline and Perforating Division, starting his career as a field engineer on location and eventually becoming Area Manager for the entire basin. Mike holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
